The statue of Lesya Ukrainka
Larysa Petrivna Kosach-Kvitka it is real name her but better known under her literary pseudonym Lesya Ukrainka. She was one of Ukraine's best-known poets and writers. Lesya also was a political and activist.
She was born in the 25th of February 1871 in the family of nobles. The her mother Olha Drahomanova Kosach was ukrainian writer, father Petro Antonovych Kosach washead of the district assembly of conciliators. She knew many languages, such as English, German, French, Italian, Greek, Latin, Polish, Russian, Bulgarian, and Ukrainian. In the 1893 she wrote the first a collection of poems "On the wings of songs". About the 220 folk songs recorded with her voice. The last year of her life, she is often sick.
She was died in the 19th July of 1913. Tomb Lesya Ukrainka is a national monument. She was a many statues on the Ukraine.
